Learning the white glove treatment at Emirates Palace

Kimberley Varaidzo moved to Switzerland from Zimbabwe with a rare drive and passion deep inside her. Focused on achieving her dream to work in hospitality, she landed a coveted internship position with Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

“So far it’s been more than I expected and I am glad I took this opportunity. I went for what I wanted and I am learning so much from it!”

The training position rotates Kimberly through 5 different sectors that run under front office including: Guest Service Centre, Business Centre, Butlers Concierge/Bell Desk and Reception.

Highlight of the program so far: “The constant interaction one faces with the guests and the remarkable feeling that comes along with it.”
