Career Development Trip, Florida

A closer look at the reality of life in the hotel industry and the exciting opportunities available is what greeted students on their week-long career development trip to Florida. Thirty enthusiastic students, from each of the César Ritz Colleges campuses, made the journey to the USA and they weren’t disappointed.

Guided visits of hotels, job interviews and networking opportunities filled a busy programme which included:

• The Viceroy, Miami
• Mandarin Oriental, Miami
• Pelican Beach Resort
• The Breakers
• Ritz Carlton Grand Lakes, Orlando
• Hilton Waldorf Astoria, Orlando
• Hyatt Regency, Orlando

The visit also included an alumni reunion of graduates from the schools of the Swiss Education Group, which gave the students another insight into just what their future could hold!

As Julia Kunz, internship coordinator at César Ritz Colleges in Lucerne says, “It’s become clear one more time that plenty of opportunities are out there, waiting to be snapped up by our students and graduates!”
