Explore wine entrepreneurship and sustainable sourcing
- Perfect your wine skills with a broad range of two-week courses in the heart of Switzerland's largest wine-producing region
- Meet wine professionals and producers, attend wine tasting and pairing sessions, and visit first-hand the Swiss vineyards or travel abroad virtually
- Explore wine entrepreneurship and sustainable sourcing at our Brig campus located in the wine region of Valais

Structure
The course is comprised of six modules, each spanning two weeks. Modules can be taken separately, but all modules need to be completed to earn a Certificate in Wine Business Management.

WSET levels 1 and 2
- Wineries and wine showroom visits in the Valais
- Experience working in biodynamic vineyards alongside a professional winemaker
- Virtual reality discovery visits to major wine areas
- Tastings and vocabulary development
Wine and Food Pairing
- Pair food with wine and other beverages to train your palate
- Use your creativity to explore different pairing possibilities
- Learn about how to pair old vintage wines with food (how to cook for old wine) and contemporary pairings
- Discover tablescaping
Building a Brand and Women in Wine
- Establishing a wine brand
- Digital marketing for the wine business
- Comité Champagne: Masterclass and tasting (with the option to get certified by Comité Champagne)
- Building your personal brand on Instagram
- Meeting with women who work in wine
Starting a Wine Business
- Business plan: from concept to financials
- Winery design: focus on sustainability
- Case studies
- Winery operations: how to set up distribution and systems, stakeholders management
- Tools to manage wine-based hospitality facilities
- Winery visit to observe the flow and design
Wine Commerce, Marketing, and Wine Tourism
- Wine commerce: introduction, channels, key promotional and commerce authorities

Requirements & Fees
- English language proficiency of TOEFL iBT 55 or IELTS 5.5 or OOPT 50+ or equivalent
- If you don't have the required language level, you can improve your language and study skills with our English Foundation Program. Please note that if you require a visa, Swiss authorities need to be provided with a valid TOEFL or IELTS score (not older than one year)
- Recommended minimum age of 18 years
